  • Redeye
Redeye is a traditional Schneider family alcoholic beverage and staple at any family celebration. Through this branding/packaging campaign, I wanted to transform Redeye from a homemade concoction into a fashionable, marketable beverage. The applications cater to drink mixing in a group setting—as the drink’s origins are in large family settings—and also allow individuals to have an easily transportable mixed beverage that is fresh and cool to carry around on the go.

  • AmeriCorps Website Redesign
For a web design investigation in user interface design, I chose to rebrand AmeriCorps and its web presence. Through my redesign, I set out to re-brand AmeriCorps with a more modern, relatable aesthetic, to create a navigation that is concise and more user-friendly, and to highlight the application process for volunteers and organizations.

  • Bismarck Identity
This is an idealized branding campaign I created for the city of Bismarck, ND. Bismarck is the capital of the state of North Dakota, and a city of greater than 60,000 people. It has a rich history founded in Native American culture and the pioneers of the West such as Lewis & Clark and Sacajawea. Its citizens are friendly and always happy to lend a hand, helping to foster a tourist-friendly environment. Because Bismarck is not typically a place where many come to visit, my goal was to create an identity campaign that would make it an attractive place for both visitors to see, and residents to take pride in.

  • The Future of McGraw-Hill Financial
As part of an intern presentation to McGraw-Hill Financial Senior Leaders, I created a proposed web platform and design that would help innovate the way customers see MHF and its products. I presented this proposal to Senior Leaders, and created a printed booklet summarizing our team’s research.

  • Logotypes & Branding
In my freelance work, I have designed logos for Electronic Hearth TV Blog, and IntelliQuit, a product and app to assist smokers in quitting. I have also designed logos for local political campaigns for Ed Sinclair for Mahwah Mayor and John Roth for Mahwah Town Council.

  • Vote Roth 2012 Campaign
For John Roth’s Town Council campaign, I have worked closely
with campaign coordinators to create a marketing strategy,
both print-based and digital, to best reach the town voters. Mr.
Roth’s campaign is strong and bold, while still being friendly and
approachable with the colors and typeface we have chosen for
    his political brand.

  • Stair Aware: Active Design Project
Modeled after the NYC DOT’s Active Design Guidelines, Fordham has taken initiative to promote taking the stairs on campus. As propaganda, I used cheeky humor combined with caution sign symbols and graphics to create a poster set and floor signs. These were positioned within Fordham’s Lowenstein building by elevators and escalators, to convince students to take the stairs instead.

  • The Bends Typographic Booklet
For my Designing Books, Zines, and Chapbooks class, I designed and self-bound a booklet featuring the lyrics from Radiohead’s album The Bends. The text is printed in layers on vellum paper to illustrate how each song actually sounds. The shifts and changes in typography exhibit changes in song dynamics and a listener’s overall impression of the music.

  • Inflatable Ferret Magazine Redesign
Inflatable Ferret is an online student-run underground music magazine. As we are beginning our second full year of production, we decided to refresh and update the magazine's format and design.

In the new design, we wanted the magazine to be playful, yet professional and sophisticated. To do this, I used bright, exuberant colors in contrast with clean, polished sans serif typefaces like Trade Gothic and Grotesque.
To give us more creative layout options and more flexible whitespace, I am using a 7-column grid system.

The following are pages from our October 2010 issue, the first issue to use this new template.

  • Your Brain & Addiction
This project was a final project for a class entitled Health & Disease at Fordham University. As many students had difficulty understanding the process of addiction within the human brain, I designed a poster series and handout-friendly diagrams on the subject. The project was entered in the Fordham University Undergraduate Research Fair and received Honorable Mention.

  • Discover Bismarck
In my design for a tourism site for Bismarck, North Dakota, I set out to attract tourists and visitors to the Bismarck-Mandan area and provide them with easy access to accommodations, while highlighting Bismarck’s historical and cultural attractions. I wanted to create a more dynamic, modern aesthetic for Bismarck to change people’s perception of the city. Through the use of photography as a main design element, I tried to emphasize the beauty of Bismarck's historical culture and natural landscape.

  • On the Origin of Species
For a Designing Books, Zines, and Chapbooks class, I designed three book jacket designs for Charles Darwin’s On the Origin of Species. In the set, one design used only typography, another only vector shapes, and the third used an image. In my designs, I tried to update the idea of On the Origin of Species for a younger, more modern audience.

  • Standard & Poor's Print Collateral
As an intern at Standard & Poor’s, I designed several CreditWeek covers and layouts for the Spotlight section of the magazine. I also produced marketing slicks and event invitations. Additionally, I created new marketing icons for
